We begin by saying “Hello” to me, we pet me to reassure me and simply to get to know be better. Then we clip the hair between the cushions of my paws so I can walk comfortably afterwards. (Did you ever walk with a rock inside your shoe ?) |

Here, we trim the hair in my ears. First we use powder specially designed for this use, which facilitates using the fingers properly or using hemostatic tweezers. We then wash with a soft and non-allergic cleanser. Should there be inflammation or ear infection, we will advise my masters to bring me to the vet for the proper treatment. |

Ah ! Cutting the nails… the moment I dread the most! But, if going to be okay after, might as well get it over with . Sigh !

Brushing is another tough moment.. All depends on the time my master spent brushing me between grooming sessions ! But today isn’t so bad… Lucky for me, my technician has many models of brushes and combs. Using different ones makes it more bearable for me !

A good bath ! So soothing ! Here, each dog is washed two or three times. They only use mild shampoo and it’s suited for every kind of hair or skin type. This is where they empty my anal glands.. I think I don’t have to elaborate… |

Drying ! All dogs, regardless of race, are hand dried with a soft brush. This allows the groomer to see if there aren’t any knots remaining in my hair and to see if my skin is nice and free of red spots or wounds. |

Finally, last step ! Putting on the finishing touch ! First, running the comb through my hair just to make sure there aren’t knots remaining then with scissors, razor my make-over is going to be complete. I’ll be a brand new dog ! |
